WHAT WE DO

The Musical Kidz on a Saturday in Aylesbury is lively and fun. All of the "Kidz" that take part are mostly regulars who work hard and learn in a safe and controlled environment. Each Term takes on a different theme and style within the performing arts. All of the teachers adapt the classes for the ability of each child and works on both a one to one basis but also as a group to help with team building and general confidence.

We encourage all of the chidren to give everything a go. Even if they don't like a subject a lot we find all three help them to grow in creativity and confidence. All of the "Kidz" work well as a team and both the younger ones and older ones find a respect for each other and help each other when in class or performance situations.

THIS TERMS THEME IS

"PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE"

In Vocal Skills (Singing) this term we are looking at a selection of songs and styles ranging from old classics to new pop and rock.

In Stage & Screen (Acting) they will be looking at a number of different playwrights and scripts whilst working on individual audition technique and improvisation skills.

In Performance Technique (Dance) they will be working on a range of routines as well as looking at individual style and technique.

All work covered each term is demonstrated to parents and family friends on the last week. All are allowed to watch and we show a sample of everything they have been learning so that you too can see the development they have made.

Assessments are also made each term in order for progress to be monitored accordingly. These are done in a friendly environment and in an enthusiastic manner so the children can all appreciate how much they are learning and developing individually.

Yearly reports are distributed at the end of the Summer Term
