Chesham Arts Festival 2009

 CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!

Well Done to everyone who competed in this years Chesham Arts Festival.

The three day festival was a huge success and I am so proud of everyone that took part.

Our Song & Dance Group -We Will Rock You

1st Place with 87 Marks

Our Lyrical Group - Growing Old

1st Place with 85 Marks

Our Modern Group - Tarzan

2nd Place with 84 Marks

Jessica Adair(Chesham) came 1st in her Song & Dance Solo

Jessica Adair also came 2nd in her Modern Solo

Nicola Lewis  (Aylesbury) did a fantastic Song and Dance Solo in which the adjudicator commented on her lovely Singing. 

So a great big WELL DONE TO YOU ALL!

Students of Musical Kidz can take part in the local festival in either a solo, duet, trio or group section.

Those that wish to take part in 2010 need to talk KT as it's her decision as to whether a suitable routine can be made up for the student.

Its a performance opportunity but is also one that shouldn't be taken lightly.

Parents should be aware that it is a competition and even though it is friendly and fun, the children need to be aware that it's not always the winning that matters but taking part that counts.

We hope the festival allows our students to develop and grow but also enables them to see meet children who also have a similiar passion to themselves.
