This year 24 Musical Kidz have been selected as the Pantomime Juveniles for this year's Pantomime at The Aylesbury Waterside Theatre. The 24 children worked very hard to achieve this opportunity and MKC are thrilled to be involved in this fantastic pantomime at Aylesbury Waterside.

KT and her Chaperone team will also be onboard and like last year's panto hope this is a huge success like Cinderella was!

Come and support our Musical Kidz Company members in half term at this year's Chesham Arts Festival being held at The Elgiva Theatre in Chesham. Selected members will be performing at this event in Solo, Duet, Trio and Ensemble categories for medals and trophies in all styles of dance and performance. Tickets cost £2 for Adults and £1 for Children/Concessions and are available on the door from the Arts Festival Team.

This is a great opportunity to see a fantastic selection of dance styles whilst supporting the members individually.

Come and be a apart of your very own Glee club for 2 days. Learn to sing, dance and act like your favourite Glee characters from the hit US TV Show. The workshop will give you the chance to try different styles of performing arts whilst enabling you to make new friends and learn from professionals. Cost £20 (for the two day course). Time: 10am-5pm. Everybody welcome between 5yrs-21yrs.

TK Management are now holding their yearly auditions for those seeking representation for professional work in TV, THEATRE, FILM, RADIO & MODELLING.

Audition Time: 1.30pm-6.30pm

The audition comprises of two parts. A Workshop covering all aspects of the industry and solo auditions demonstrating a song, a dance and an acting piece suitable for age range (must be prepared before hand and no longer than 1m30 in each catergory).

Book your free place and come along and try out our new classes for babies to toddlers aged 6wks - 2.5years.

These classes last 30 mins and allow babies and toddlers to socialise, gain co-ordination, develop learning and communication skills through the use of soft play, toys, live music, dance and singing. The classes are split into the following age groups;

Mini Teds:  6 wks - 8 months ( Full Parent particpation)

Little Teds: 9 months - 18 months ( Full Parent Participation)

Big Teds: 18 months +  (50% Parent Participation)

The Musical Kidz Company is very excited to be taking part in this prestigious event on Tuesday 25th September. MKC was chosen alongside 7 other Dance and Performing Arts Schools to represent Performing Arts across the Vale for the very first production at the new Waterside Theatre. The evening is going to show a selection of work from all the schools chosen to participate allowing local performers the opportunity to be the first to step onto the stage and "tread the new boards" at the Waterside.

This is a very exciting year for our local Panto. Not only do we have a new theatre to perform in but we have a new theatre company coming to town.

First Family Entertainment will be producing this year's Cinderella Pantomime at The Waterside Theatre and the auditions are being held for the Juvenile Ensemble on Saturday 11th September. Anyone from 6 years-16 years can audition but must register on the Robinsons- Search for a Star website. Our very own KT is the Pantomime Juvenile Ensemble Co-ordinator so if you fancy meeting her , MKC Chaperones and the First Family Production Team- Register Now (by clicking the Search for s Star logo) as all auditionees must register in order to audition on Saturday 11th September. This was a lovely day in Kingsbury Square with not only MKC members performing but some of our professional staff too.

To top of our performance selection All MKC members performed a medley tribute to Roald Dahl by singing songs from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Soloist MKC Members included Jessica Hopkins, Alice Williams and Abbie Vincent.

MKC performed a selection of Musical Theatre and Street routines in Kingsbury Square at the Dance Now Event run in conjunction with AVDC. There were a selection of groups taking part demonstrating Hip-Hop, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Disco, Belly Dancing, Lindy Hop and many other styles. All those that saw the event commented on how wonderful all the participants were. MKC enjoys taking part at these events and hopes you can come and see us at the next one.
